Do you test on animals?
No. Paula’s Choice has never tested on animals at any stage of product development and never will. We also do not contract with any third parties to conduct animal testing on our behalf. We’re part of the Leaping Bunny Program, which means not only have we eliminated animal testing from our company, but also from our ingredient suppliers.
Paula’s Choice supports many charities focused on animal welfare such as the Humane Society, ASPCA and NAVS. Paula’s Choice is a dog-friendly office, with most of our employees bringing their canine companions to work each day.

Is Paula’s Choice sold in China?
Paula’s Choice products are NOT sold in physical stores in mainland China.
Why can’t cruelty free brands sell in mainland China?
Animal testing is still happening for products sold in physical stores in mainland China.
Pre-market animal testing is required for all special-use imported products, and non-routine post-market testing on animals may also be done in cases of customer complaints.
However, please keep in mind that this doesn’t apply to products sold in stores at the airports, or in Hong Kong.
Also, products can be sold online and shipped to mainland China without being tested on animals.
Is Paula’s Choice owned by a parent brand? If yes, is it cruelty free?
Paula’s Choice is owned by TA Associates, a company that doesn’t test on animals.
Is Paula’s Choice vegan?
Paula’s Choice is not 100% vegan.
However, most of their products actually are vegan.
Are Paula’s Choice products vegan, or do any of them contain animal by-products?
The majority of Paula’s Choice Skincare products are vegan because they do not contain animal or animal-derived ingredients. We also seek to formulate without such ingredients whenever possible, and you’ll be glad to know exciting new vegan skincare ingredients are being developed all the time. However, some of our products do contain animal or animal-derived ingredients, either due to formulary necessity or because an equivalent vegan ingredient was not available to use.
