No, Benton products are NOT sold in physical stores in mainland China.
Why can’t cruelty free brands sell in mainland China?
Animal testing is still mandatory for all imported products sold in physical stores in mainland China.
Pre-market animal testing is required for all imported products, and non-routine post-market testing on animals may also be done in cases of customer complaints.
However, please keep in mind that this doesn’t apply to products sold in stores at the airports, or in Hong Kong.
Also, products can be sold online and shipped to mainland China without being tested on animals.

Benton is not 100% vegan.
Although they do have some vegan options, most of their products contain snail mucin and bee by-products as ingredients, which is common for Korean skincare.
If you’re looking for vegan products, always check the ingredient list.
Best Benton products
Being inspired by the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, Benton’s goal is to “turn back the time” for your skin, making it look and feel younger and healthier.
Their ingredients are clean and healthy, and their packaging is eco-friendly.
This K-Beauty brand has gained a lot of popularity recently, becoming a Korean skincare cult favorite.
The BENTON Aloe BHA Skin Toner is one of their best-rated products and a great product to start with if you’re new to Benton. It contains salicylic acid (0.5%) as the active ingredient to help remove dead skin cells and black heads.
Benton products are available on Amazon and Stylevana. If you’ve never heard of Stylevana – it’s an online store for everything Asian Beauty-related, especially K-Beauty. They usually have great prices and frequently run promotions where entire brands are on sale, so check them out as well.
