ColourPop is 100% cruelty free. None of their ingredients or finished products are tested on animals.

Although they do have some vegan-friendly products, ColourPop is not 100% vegan as a brand.

Is ColourPop cruelty free? Are ColourPop products tested on animals?

ColourPop doesn’t test on animals and is 100% cruelty free.

  • ColourPop finished products aren’t tested on animals by anyone, anywhere in the world
  • The ingredients used in their products are never tested on animals by anyone, anywhere in the world
  • Third parties never test ColourPop products on animals
  • ColourPop is not sold in mainland China, or in any country where animal testing is still required by law

We are 100% fur baby friendly, bunny approved, and only test our products on humans – the ones in our HQ to be exact!

ColourPop is very passionate about animals and does not condone animal testing in any way. We are extremely proud to be cruelty free! No outside company tests on animals for us and none of our suppliers test on animals.

Is ColourPop sold in China?

No, ColourPop products are NOT sold in physical stores in mainland China.

Why can’t cruelty free brands sell in mainland China?

Animal testing is still happening for products sold in physical stores in mainland China.

Pre-market animal testing is required for all special-use imported products, and non-routine post-market testing on animals may also be done in cases of customer complaints.

However, please keep in mind that this doesn’t apply to products sold in stores at the airports, or in Hong Kong.

Also, products can be sold online and shipped to mainland China without being tested on animals.

Is ColourPop owned by a parent brand? If yes, is it cruelty free?

ColourPop is owned by Seed Beauty, which is a 100% cruelty free company.

Seed Beauty also owns Kylie Cosmetics, KKW Beauty (Kim Kardashian’s brand), Fourth Ray Beauty and SOL Body, all of which are cruelty free brands.

Is ColourPop vegan?

ColourPop is not 100% vegan as a brand.

However, they do have a lot of vegan-friendly options.

You can find a full list of all ColourPop products that are not vegan here. If the product you’re looking to buy is not on that list, it means that it’s 100% vegan.
